Dr. Stacie Moore
Dr. Stacie Moore is a native of Omaha, Nebraska. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Moore attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, where she graduated with honors. While at SCO, she served as the President of her class, received two outstanding clinician performance awards, was awarded the VSP Excellence in Primary Care Scholarship, and was inducted into Beta Sigma Kappa, the International Optometric Honor Society.
Dr. Moore received her externship training at the Memphis VA Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee, and at The Optical Boutique, in Germantown, Tennessee. Both externships provided her with extensive training in the treatment of ocular disease, pre, and post-surgical eyecare, pediatrics, and contact lenses with an emphasis in orthokeratology.
Dr. Moore is currently a member of The American Optometric Association and Secretary and Chair of the Public Health Committee of The Mississippi Optometric Association. She is active in church and the West Point community. Dr. Moore loves spending time with her husband and two sons. She also enjoys traveling and reading.
Dr. Taylor O’Daniel
Dr. Taylor O’Daniel was raised in Mantee, MS and is a graduate of East Webster High School. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology from Mississippi State University. Dr. O’Daniel attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. While at SCO, she served as Missions Coordinator for Fellowship of Christian Optometrists and was inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. Dr. O’Daniel was awarded the Mohammad Rafieetary Academic and Clinical Excellence Award for outstanding performance in the classroom and the ocular disease clinic at SCO. Dr. O’Daniel presented a case report with associated research at the American Academy of Optometry in 2023.
Dr. O’Daniel received externship training at the VA Medical Center in Jackson, TN, Olive Branch Eye Care in Olive Branch, MS, Charles Retina Institute in Germantown, TN and Linder Oculoplastics in Memphis, TN. These experiences provided Dr. O’Daniel with extensive training in diagnosis and management of ocular disease, ocular aesthetics, such as lump and bump removals, in-office minor surgical procedures, and comprehensive pediatric care. Dr. O’Daniel is most passionate about preventative pediatric eyecare, and sees children as young as 4 weeks old.
Dr. O’Daniel currently resides in Houston, MS and attends Houston First Baptist where her husband serves as the head paster. She enjoys spending time with family, reading, and playing with her Golden retriever puppy.
